Biostatistical support and data analysis

Central projects of the KKNMS such as the cohorts and biobanks require biostatistical support for the planning, implementation and analysis of the studies. For high throughput technologies such as MRI studies, genotyping, gene expression or other omics approaches, design, data pre-processing and data analysis also play an important role. In addition, in biomarker studies the study design and the choice of test method is important. This project offers biostatistical support and data analysis for cohort studies, for the genomics projects as well as for biomarker studies.

Head of the project is Prof. Dr. Andreas Ziegler (University of Lübeck), supported by co-coordinator Prof. Dr. Bertram Müller-Myhsok (Max Planck Institute of Psychiatry, Munich).
