Hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT)

A new HSCT expert committee has been set up as part of the further development of the KKNMS and has been entrusted with the following tasks: to work on and promote the topic of autologous hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (aHSCT) as a form of therapy for multiple sclerosis in Germany in terms of content, science and politics in line with the KKNMS tasks, in close coordination with the Task Force on Care Structures and Therapeutics, the German MS study group and the KKNMS Board.

The HSCT Technical Committee currently has the following members:

The members of the HSCT Task Force are defined as the groups and authors involved in the position paper “Recommendation position on the use of autologous hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (aHSCT) in multiple sclerosis in Germany”, version 1.0, as of November 18, 2022.
